Not related to BB, here's what happend. Last night I was playing bb and I had to restart my computer (a team in a league with a friend somehow got loaded to play a game). Now that I restarted my computer I have no audio. The Troubleshooter tells me that:Problems Found, 1 or more audio devices isn't running. How do I reactivate my audio? I've tried restarting a few times, no luck. When I restart the computer, I can hear a faint pop in my speakers, but I can't get my audio back. Any help would be appreciated.
I've tried restoring my pc to a previous days settings, no luck.
Uninstalled Realtek audio, and reinstalled it, no luck.
Gone to Services in Admin tools, checked to see if Windows Audio was running, it's set to automatic, but when I hit start, is says:Error 1068 The Dependency Service or Group Failed to start.
I've restarted my computer mutiple times, no luck.
Also when you unplug and replug in the speakers, it makes a sound like your unplugging and repluggin in your computer.
I'm willing to give remote access to anyone if they can help, me. I have no sound on my computer at all and when I click on my sound icon in the bottom right, this is what it says: one or more audio service isn't running.
I know some of you know more about computers than I do, I am really hoping for some help or suggestions.
Thanks - Nate
I've run Device manager, and it says all my audio cards are working properly. Realtek HD audio, HD audio device, & (x4) Nvidia HD audio. I've run microsoft fix it, troubleshooter, and restarted it about 5 times, but I still can't get my audio to return, keeps telling me "one or more audio service isn't running. PLEASE HELP!!
I have an Inspirion 580, i5, running Windows 7. Please let me know if you need more info to help. Thank you.
