A new rule is suggested it would have to be "approved" by the committee to even go up for a vote.
I retain veto powers.
This problem, I am presented with ideas I think are unnecessary and sometimes stupid. I have no interest discussing them or arranging a vote. Waste of my time. But they might be wanted anyway.
If the committee thought is was good enough to discuss and approved it then we can talk about it more.
They are approving the discussion of the idea in an official capacity. The actual voting and commish input will remain the same.
Think of it as a "have your people call my people" thing.
Or some rogue owner has to put some actual effort into getting a rule only he currently thinks is needed.
