docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AuFGnsnN264rdDF1cU1XVkNoZ1dPRDZudUhBV3BFVHcI'm not looking for much discussion on this, it really is in line with the old pay scale when we only had a three round draft. The assigned terms in round 1 are all 4 years. Thought here, this pick should be a winner and if they are they never need to see a franchise tag or blind bid if you choose. Rounds 3, 4, and 5 are two years because you might find a stud here and he'd be well underpaid. A two year deal makes him a RFA and allows him to be bid on and earn a fair salary. If he sucks, he's off your books quickly. Round 6 you get to pick the term. You think you have a gem, you can keep him for 6 years at $1. Unsure? 1 year the stiff. I raised the overall number 1 pick from $121 to $135. I also slowed the rate in which the salaries decreased as the first round goes on. This is not position specific, so if you draft a kicker in round 1 he will make more than any kicker in the league.

Foiled again. Maybe you can talk Steve into adding the Center position. As one you played in HS, I'm sure you'll have the advantage there.
