Don't know much about past drafts but I'll comment on the 1st Parjai Squad draft. Plus some free youtube links for your enjoyment.
1.01- Trent Richardson, RB, Cleveland Browns
Was easily my #1 player available. He goes into a situation that he has no competition for carries, a decent OL. Really all he needs is his 42 year old rookie QB Paul Blake (guess the movie??) to be decent and he will have a great rookie year. I like the pairing of him and Matthew as my RBs this year think it easlily gives me one of the 12 best backfields in the RADL.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTbfMLCIiXY1.02- Robert Griffin III- QB- Washington Redskins
Was really torn on this pick until I talked to RGIII's agent Han Solo and he helped clear my head.
Han Solo: Han Solo. I'm the agent for RGIII. Chewie here tells me you're lookin' for a QB to take over the RADL?
Obi-Wan: Yes indeed, if it's a fast QB.
Han Solo: Fast QB? You've never heard of RGIII?
Obi-Wan: Should I have?
Han Solo: He's the QB that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs. He's outrun Imperial defenes. Not the local sandlot defenses mind you, I'm talking about the big RADL defenses now. He's fast enough for you old man.
He helped make my choice easy.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpMWjmfwhCg1.08- Kendall Wright, WR, Tennessee Titans
Was really trying to move up to acquire Michael Floyd but am happy with the selection of Wright. He's a big play waiting to happen and I feel he'll devlop into a solid fantasy WR. I think he'll really excel in a slot role for Tennessee
www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_4kvpLC1d82.01- Alshon Jeffrey-WR- Chicago Bears
I feel like Chicago got a steal in drafting this kid. He's big, strong, and fast enough. Has a uber-productive sophmore year and than got lazy and lost his QB in junior season. Was considered the best WR in this class for a bit until last year. I'm hoping he's got his head on straight.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=fljiaojL5fM2.11- Mohamed Sanu-WR-Cinncinatti Bengals
There is a wide open spot as the #2 wr for the Bengals and I think Sanu is gonna get that role. I really think the Bengals will open it up this year (BJGEFPQ as your only back come on). I think he can be decent this year but we will see
www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFWgS5hTYBY4.01- Greg Childs- WR- Minnesota Vikings
He's big (6'3, 219lbs), fast 4.41 forty, explosive 40+ inch vertical, but.... is he healthy? Vikings need a big WR on the outside so I took a flier that Childs is that guy
www.youtube.com/watch?v=XacQNhrETvs4.11- Janoris Jenkins-CB- St. Lious Rams
What can I say I like rookie starting CBs. They get thrown at a lot so get plenty of opportunities for tackles, int, passes defensed, ect... (we don't lose points for completions and yards allowed do we?)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=R06Kj8ACvIM5.01- DeVier Posey- WR- Houston Texans
Another flier. I think if he hadn't gotten in trouble and lost his senior year he could have been a late first or early 2nd round pick. There is an obvious hole at #2 WR for the Texans and if he can stop getting tatoos he might get it. Plus, I'll probably never get a chance to draft another DeVier again.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gvb6Oc4dM3gP.S.- you gotta be special if your only youtube highlight is some drunk dude pointing his cell phone at a tv to get game highlights.
5.03-Dre Kirkpatrick- CB- Cincinnatti (damn I can't spell that town so from this day forward I am done with Cincy) Bengals
See Jenkins....
www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0JduQAj3H86.01- Jarius Wright-WR-Minnesota Vikings
I like his potential as a slot WR. Unfortunately, he plays with uber-slot migraine boy WR. Maybe the Vikes will figure out someway to use them both.
