I second the motion to limit these interlopers.

I think teams should only get a limit if they make a SUCCESSFUL claim. TS protections limit acquisitions as is

Is the # of TS claims really a problem?
What is the average # of TS claims made in a year by teams in our league?

The problem is receiving two emails with-in days listing 4-7 players each and not having a system to determine priority or limits. When they normally include several of the same players.
I think claiming 4 players in one week is excessive.
I'd be more happy with a window from week 5 until week whatever...say 10 or 11. Right around the trade deadline.
A team sends a list with 4 players at midnight of Tuesday, another team sends a list Wednesday morning and in theory would have no claim to any of the other players.
Outside the first two days of TS claims were waiver order is used. Which I want to eliminate for everything.

What if instead of emailing Steve, a team making a TS claim emailed the team directly and just cc'd Steve? Maybe we set up some sort of email format, or maybe we make a special message board or something on the site. That way Steve doesn't have to process so many claims.
OR and just thought of this while typing, we assign someone like Nate or Jason, or Brian who always seem to be awake and around, and make one of them/us in charge of TS claims? Maybe we send Steve a weekly report or something.

If that is happening then 1 a week or 1 at a time is fine with me. The problem is receiving two emails with-in days listing 4-7 players each and not having a system to determine priority or limits. When they normally include several of the same players. I think claiming 4 players in one week is excessive. I'd be more happy with a window from week 5 until week whatever...say 10 or 11. I agree with 1 week and 1 claim per team

I think someone else should be responsible for it. That way Steve can focus on other things.

I don't mind a limit, but I'm not sure that 1/week is enough. Maybe 2/week.

I was fine with 1 per day. In fact that would solve plenty of issues.
