Currently dropped players are locked for 24 or 48 hours and then signed via a rolling waiver order. I think it's important to lock dropped players for a time but this system doesn't seem to technically work with players remaining locked for a week or longer and I don't get it.
Also in a blind bid based league a rolling waiver order is out of place but MFL doesn't allow separate bidding on locked players, I've asked.
The easiest thing would be, they are locked all week and then manually unlocked by me after kick-off on Sunday or Monday night at which point they'd be locked anyway because the games are under way. Then they are free to be bid on Tuesday night like normal.
Whatever you suggest here needs to be automatically done by MFL or a big window for me manually. I can't guarantee I'll be around at Friday midnight or whatever to unlock players. Not generally an issue given the quality of cut players but sometimes there are players of interest.
I don't think it's unreasonable to lock them all week whether they're cut Tuesday or Sunday morning. With the built-in 48 hours from !pm Sunday through 2am Wednesday owners would have ample opportunity to view locked or recently dropped guys then bid on them Tuesday late with blind bids.

I agree. Having a consistent schedule of unlocking players after games sounds like a great improvement and hopefully won't be too much of a burden for you.
