Refers to a vote from last year where we asked if we should allow teams to trade cap space. Which currently is a permanent move. This is different from one team agreeing to pay a portion of a player's contract for an agreed upon length of time.
Continue allowing only a permanent trade of cap space.
Amend to allow cap space to be traded for 3 or 5 years
Forbid the trading of cap space.
Banning of cap dollar trades would likely be followed, in coming years, a normalizing of all teams to have the same cap number again. We'd need to figure that out. Not right away, it's complicated.

Does this mean I get all my cap I traded away back?

No. Only thing we'd do is return caps to normal and offset that by another penalty that goes away slowly over many years.
Conversely, teams like me would get relief if some sort that would also go away slowly.
As an example I'd be allowed to lower a players salary by the amount of cap I'd lose.
We wouldn't even talk about it until next year and then multiple years to take affect.
Don't plan on more money this or any year soon.
