Steve, is our cap penalty number updated (have our penalties from last season been taken off yet?). Just want to make sure I have my cap figured out correctly before bidding.

I was asked about my TS move, fairly enough. That player was extended while on TS but his eligibility for TS was over so I HAD to move him to my roster and choose to now before I forgot and gained an unfair advantage. He was the only player this applied to that was extended.
I am still restricting TS moves unless through me until I check some rules. The reason is, and not on purpose, but owners may start to promote players and maybe demote some that shouldn't be eligible for taxi squad. I don't want to have to reverse engineer moves to make sure they were legal.
So I'll read up tonight and if you have TS moves you need to make let me know.

So we are all on the same page with bidding. The "not eligible for tax free cut" rule we added was ONLY FOR EXTENDED players. Not franchised, not blind bid, not in season free agents. I think it should be for franchised and blind bid off season adds but it is not.
Go forward with that knowledge.
Something I think gets forgotten, even if you can't tax free them, they are still only a 25% cap hit. It isn't like it's 100% guaranteed or something.
